Interview:
If you would like to officially begin the enrollment process, our office staff can set up an appointment for an interview with our Headmaster and Principal. The Interview takes approximately 40-60 minutes. This is an opportunity for you and our administrators to discern if our school is a good fit for your family and your children.
Testing:
If parents and administrators agree to continue the enrollment process, the next step is testing, which is done by one of our classroom teachers.
There is a $65 application and testing fee for each child, which is to be paid at the time of testing. Most testing takes 40 minutes for children entering Kindergarten and 60-120 minutes for those entering Grades 1-8.
Testing Results:
We will phone you with results within one week of testing. After the phone conversation we will mail you a brief overview of the test results.
Acceptance:
If your child appears to have the necessary skills and abilities to make a successful transition to our school, we will send you a letter of acceptance with enrollment materials.
School "Shadow" Visit:
Some parents request that their child come to school for a morning or a day to “shadow” in order to see the school and to get to know some of the other students. We prefer to limit visits to students entering Grades 5-8 but are willing to accommodate other grades when necessary. Call the office to arrange this.
